Thanks for the reply and the encouragement (again!). I did read the whole book, and my only complaint about it is that I didn't read it a few years ago! I appreciate your philosophy about education. Your book, your story put it in a way that I could actually absorb and apply to my life. You are real, not perfect, but still a true example. My children are 13, 11, 9 and I have a 3 year old with Down Syndrome. I so wish I had had your book when they were all so much younger. We might be in a different place now. But I am thankful we have it now, and I have the courage, the excitement, the vision to do things differently. For once in my life, I feel good about where I can take my children, how to equip them. Your story had a big part in that. I plan to reread it and share it with others. I still have MUCH to learn about it all, but I will follow your advice and trust the Lord to lead me, as He has you, so that they can reach their God given potentials. Thank you so very much for your book, your example, your advice and encouragement. You are a blessing of a family!!

I just finished the book about 20 minutes ago! Obviously I thoroughly enjoyed it and could not put it down. It was just the inspiration I needed today. It was a VERY hard day with my two boys ages 2 and 4 months today, and I simply cried out to God for some help and peace. He simply told me, "Hang in there. The help is on it's way." And sure enough, it was literally on it's way electronically since you decided to go ahead and email it to me! So, thank you. I loved how it was written with everyones input. It was like sitting your family down and listening to everyone's different ideas, stories, and opinions.

After we had our first son the Lord began dealing with me about the birth control I was on and in a nutshell led me to get off of it. I obeyed and several months later I was pregnant with our second son Daniel. I know God has divinely called us to homeschooling, and I think that is why I have been struggling a lot. Reading your book was like putting mortar to the bricks that God has been leading us to. I will be calling to schedule a conference call soon and can't wait to talk with you more.
