For Homeschooling: Kip and Mona Lisa Harding teach basic principles for success that are sure to bring you and your child closer together.  Regardless of any grades in life, the family unit is what matters most.  This is at the core of our coaching, along with faith.  We try to help parents turn their hearts toward home, the family, and their faith.  From that starting point, we believe parents can find success which spreads outside the home.

For Businesses: Kip teaches the seven orders of reasoning for managers to learn to find success through their faith and their employees at their place of work.

Seven Orders of Reasoning/States of Managerial Data Processing

Habitualization: Gain the subordinates full explanation (Preferably up to the 3^rd order of reasoning)  Who/What/When/Why is the problem.  Form the right habits.

Analyzation: What caused the problem?  (Staffing, funding, planning, other).

Rationalization: How do we fix it? (Policy change, process change?)

Devolution: Which segments of an organization should be notified and impact tracked.

Integration: Rollup impacts and make risks shown as shadow charts to each decision.

Negotiation: Estimate tradeoffs and redefine success metrics based on new/reset timelines.

Graduation: Apply lesson’s learned; garnish resources from non-performers as appropriate.  That is, unless the lack of access to more resources was the root cause of the problem.  After initial attempts to help have failed to increase performance, avoid mixed signals of rewarding poor performance and missed expectations by diverting more resources to that area.

Visibility in Management Decision making is key!

It avoids:

Abilene Paradox –Doing what you think the other person wants when in fact they don’t.

Group Think –Continually going down a path where previous costs are the justification.

Behavioral Trend Regression –The current performance trend is worse than before. 

Standard mature charts show six headings/columns

1. This week/2. Last week/3. Weeks on List/4. Issue Status Impact/5. Owner/Estimated Completion Date (ECD)/6. Estimate To Complete (ETC)
2. Followed by charts showing Risk and Opportunities

Yet, this is still all first order reasoning because there is no link to the higher levels of reasoning.  Lower level segments within the organization and subcontracted organizations are not notified.

Here’s one truth at the workplace and at home –some adults never grow up emotionally.  This puts stress on their families and on the work environment.

We highly encourage 360 degree appraisals.  This helps to identify those needing behavioral modification.  They work in the home and at the workplace with prayer.
